SENIOR PROGRAMMES FACILITATOR:
Stephen Fernando has been a trainer with BETTERLIFE since 1982 and gives personal coaching to senior government officers and executives in the private sector on speech preparation, humour and presentation skills.
Stephen started his training career with LMD, Leadership Management & Development where he was tasked with formulating programmes based on “Needs Analysis” for the Coporate sector. From 1980 till 1992, he was the training consultant for UMW and Felda Corporations. At the same he trained personnel of Matshusita in Sales, Basic man agement and conducted team building sessions for the factory.
Overall, Stephen has been involved in training personnel of various organizations in Motivation, Team Building and Leadership .worked with companies coaching staff in aspects of Communications, Human Relations and "Presentation Skills for Executives" and handles sessions on Conversational English for government personnel.
Stephen has over the last few years spoken in Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore and various cities of Indonesia.
A competent speaker, he has written a book entitled "From Conversationalist to Public Speaker".
In August 2004, representing seven countries in this region, he won the second place in a World Speech contest held at Reno, Nevada USA. He was also at the World Speakers convention as a presenter in August 2010 that was held at Desert Springs, California.
Stephen regularly presents "Motivational Humour" at sales conventions. He is an entertaining emcee and also a "stand up" comedian Many of Stephen's presentations are on YouTube.
